It is with regret that Nigel Hawkins has contacted The Looker, to inform the people of the Romney Marsh that for this Year Lydd Club Day has been cancelled been cancelled.
A full statement will follow in the coming days, but Nigel expressed his deep regret over having to take the decision. But due to advise on health and safety and the huge amount of work involved in putting on Lydd annual event. He thinks it is too much to risk at this time.
He would like to thank the team that has helped him with the planning to date, and assures the people of Lydd and the whole district that he sincerely hopes this is just a blip and that 2021 Club Day will be the best one to date.
