Over 200 runners took part in yesterdays annual ten kilometre run organised by Romney Marsh Rotary club, in association with Nice Works race promotions.
With initial rain clearing by 8.30 organiser’s erected registration gazebo’s and runners started to ‘sign in’ for the race which started at 10.00am.
The event also featured The Lookers very own David Wimble and local celebrity Steve Bolton, who compared the event and kept the awaiting crowd entertained with race information
Before the main race a children’s fun run around St. Martin’s field followed by a wheelchair race.
The winning time was a course record of 32 minutes with the rest of the field coming home over the next hour.
